A Cape May Court House retiree has a giant check with a huge number on it, thanks to the New Jersey Lottery.

Joseph W. (apparently winners don't have to have their last names released) won $343,708 by holding one of two winning Jersey Cash 5 for the December 4, 2015 drawing.

According to the lottery, Joseph's winning ticket was purchaesed at the ACME store in Oceanview.

Joseph W. and his wife Kathryn, from Cape May Court House, do their weekly grocery shopping at the Acme store. Each weekly trip includes a lottery purchase.
Jersey Cash 5 has always been their game of choice. When Kathryn checked the numbers on their December 4 ticket and saw all five numbers match, “I started to
cry. It’s just a miracle,” she said. After some “rough patches” in their lives, “things seem to be looking up.” They claimed half of the $687,416 jackpot making their share $343,708.
Paying off bills will be their first priority.
