Cold temperatures? What cold temperatures? Humpback whales have been spotted recently, having a grand time up and down the Jersey Shore, from Long Branch to Wildwood.

Numerous whale sightings have been reported recently, according to NJ.com, including a Humpback whale having fun in the water less then 100 yard offshore on the beach in Belmar.

The NJ.com article mentions that it was a good weekend for whale watching aboard the the Cape May Whale Watcher as four Humpback whales entertained passengers.

The first week of November is actually the perfect time for whale watching off the Jersey coast due to the water temperature, which is about 50 degrees right now, according to the article.

So hey, if you're a fanatic whale watcher this would be a good weekend to hop on board the Cape May Whale Watcher to witness the fall migration!
