Coastal Flood Advisory Continues for Parts of South Jersey

The National Weather Service
has extended the Coastal Flood Advisory for South Jersey until 5 AM Wednesday.Streets were flooded with bay water last night on South Jersey’s barrier islands and coastal roads. The rising waters and flooding were the result of a combination of an unusually high astronomical tide due to the full moon.
The Black Horse Pike was shut down in both directions last night in the West Atlantic City section of EHT because of the flooding.
Expect minor tidal flooding during tonight’s and Wednesday’s high tide.
