The U.S. Coast Guard, known for rescuing thousands of mariners in distress, was at it again over the weekend in South Jersey. Doing what they do best, they rescued four people from a sinking vessel.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Coast Guard received a call early Sunday afternoon concerning a recreation boat taking on water in Brigatine. Four people were on the boat.

A U.S. Coast Guard response boat from the Atlantic City station stopped the boat from sinking and guided the boat (along with the 4 passengers) safely back to shore.

Another awesome job by the U.S. Coast Guard!
