Chris Christie is a lame duck as governor and a never-was after his failed campaign for president, so he doesn't have to worry about receiving the support of South Jersey voters anymore.

That's a good thing for him, because South Jersey fans of the Philadelphia Eagles would be even less likely to vote for his Dallas Cowboy-loving backside anyway after his latest put-down of Eagles fans. Ouch, he really hates us, guys!

It's no secret that Christie is a life-time fan of the Dallas Cowboys and, of course, there is no love lost between Cowboy and Eagles fans, but the degree of the governor's disdain for Eagles fans goes to the lunatic fringe.

While co-hosting a New York City sports radio program  (WFAN) Wednesday morning, Christie was not shy about expressing what he thought about fans from the city of brotherly love.

The governor was talking about the public reaction he gets for being a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, especially in the hostile environment of the Eagle's Lincoln Financial Field.

“They’re interested. But the hostility, I will tell you that I take for being a Cowboys fan — and this is what I say to Giants fans all the time, and Eagles fans. Now Eagles fans I understand it from a little more because the Eagles do suck and they’ve sucked for a long time. And their fans are generally angry, awful people,” Christie said.
