It feels like people and entertainment websites are always highlighting child stars who have taken a trip down the wrong road once becoming adults in the acting or music industry.

But this doesn't happen to every child star, what about the ones who still have successful careers?

Hilary Duff:

The former Disney Channel star got her big break at the age of 11 when she starred in Casper Meets Wendy. Since then, Duff has married NHL player, Mike Comrie and the couple gave birth to their first child back in 2012.


Ryan Gosling:

This heartthrob actor was a part of the All-New Mickey Mouse Club at the age of 12 and since then has been stealing our hearts in tearjerkers like, The Notebook.


Christina Aguilera:

Yet another former member of The Mickey Mouse Club, Aguilera is still making hits and has also most recently been seen as a judge on NBC’s The Voice.


Justin Timberlake:

This singing and acting duo also got his start in the business by being on The Mickey Mouse Club and then later was part of the popular boy band, ‘N Sync.  Timberlake is still singing and acting with appearances in The Social Network and his latest hit, “Suit and Tie.”

We watched Watson grow up through the Harry Potter series as Hermione Granger and have since seen her big-screen hits such as Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Bling Ring.


Neil Patrick Harris:

Starring in How I Met Your Mother, this star began his career as a child actor but has also had success in music, producing, directing and magic! Just recently, he served as the host of the Tony Awards for the 4th time.


Natalie Portman:
