Chemical Spill Forces Closure at Mainland High, Several Hospitalized

Mainland Regional High School in Linwood was forced to dismiss students... for the day this morning at 10:45am after  an apparent chemical spill.

The school is telling parents the spill occurred near the pool, and although it is thought to have been minor, several students were taken to the hospital emergency room.

Superintendent Tom Baruffi first notified students of the situation at about 9am.
