Here's one thing I never saw coming this holiday season! The coffee and donut giant continues to evolve its brand with a possible name change hanging in limbo, donut menu updates, and new options including a 'cold one'.

Dunkin' Donuts is now officially in the craft brew business as it officially releases a Dark roasted brew made of course, from Dunkin's dark roast coffee, according to NJ.com.

Unfortunately if you wanted to sample Dunkins' Dark Brew this Christmas you'd have to visit Wormtown Brewery in Worcester Massachusetts. The new Dunkin' concoction is being released on the first day of winter, December 21st.

According to MSN, the creamy beer features full roasted dunkin' coffee flavor. The brew will only be available for a limited time, but if it catches on and becomes a smash hit you may be able to try it sooner or later!

I'm not sure I would enjoy this new beverage option, actually. I'll probably just stick to their coffee instead. What about you?
