There's good news for Turkey Day travelers when it comes to the price of gas!According to Trippe A close to 47 million will hit the road over the long Thanksgiving weekend traveling over 50 miles. Gas prices will be the lowest in over seven years!

The national average for a gallon of gas was $2.15. It's even lower in New Jersey where the average comes in at $1.92. We were paying $2.72 for a gallon of gas for Thanksgiving 2014.

According to gas experts, there's even talk of gas dropping to a $1.50 a gallon just in time for Christmas.
