Cape May County Zoo Welcomes New Arrivals for 2016

One of the best zoos in America has just announced some new additions to the zoo for the new year. Cape May County Zoo officials are proud to announce the birth of a female calf born to the Zoo's adult giraffes, Joanie and Sterling. The baby giraffe calf was born in December. Giraffe calves can stand within 5 minutes of birth, and can run as fast as its mother. The zoo will be showing off the unnamed baby giraffe come spring of 2016.

Also new to the zoo, Marty an 8 month old Dromedary Camel made his debut on January 4th.Dromedary Camels call the deserts of Northern Africa and Western India home. You can meet Marty at the zoo everyday from 10AM until 3:45 PM.
