His 1976 album "Silk Degrees" is still one of my all-time favorites.  He recorded it with session musicians who would later form Toto.  No wonder I love that album!  (Speaking of Toto, the band is coming to Borgata's Event Center next Sunday, August 9th along with Yes).  "Silk Degrees" featured four hit songs, including "Lowdown" and "Lido Shuffle".  And I loved the ballad "We're All Alone", which was later recorded by Rita Coolidge.  My college roommate and I wore that album out!

Fast forward several years later to 2010...when Boz Scaggs began touring with Donald Fagen and Michael McDonald as The Dukes of September.  So glad I got the opportunity to see them together.  It was an awesome show!

And tomorrow night should also be an awesome show with Boz Scaggs, especially in an intimate venue like the Music Box.  The show starts at 9 pm.  And that's the Lowdown.  :)
