Body Found on Galloway Road

Galloway Township Police spent much of Sunday investigating the discovery of a man's body on the side of Great Creek Road. Police responded at 7:20a.m. Sunday to a 911 call about a man's body. Great Creek Road between Jimmy Leads Road and Wrangleboro Road remained closed for about five hours as the Galloway Township Police and Major Crimes Unit of the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office investigated.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, the man found was identified and his next of kin were notified, but the man's identity was not released.
