It's so easy to slip. The temptation to help yourself to one, or ten, of the kids' chocolate Easter eggs can be considerable. At the risk of being an Easter scrooge, I thought you would like to consider whether it's worth it.

If you eagerly wait all year  for that special moment when you get to bite the ear off the chocolate bunny, then go ahead and enjoy.  But if you are just find yourself grazing this weekend and an Easter egg happens to be there for the taking, you may want to reach for a carrot stick instead.

Burning off a chocolate Easter egg could require some serious exercise.

A fitness expert says to burn off a Cadbury crème egg it takes 50 minutes of walking or 20 minutes of running.

To burn off a Nestle Chocolate Hollow Egg you need to walk for hour and 15 minutes or run for 35 minutes.

And tops is a deluxe Easter egg which is 800 calories and takes four hours of walking to burn off ... or one hour and 20 minutes of running.
