The word free might not be associated with the beaches in Wildwood for the summer of 2015. Wildwood is one of the few beaches in New Jersey that doesn't require a beach tag or charge for beach access. That could all change this November if the issue shows up on the ballot come election day in November.

According to Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr., there have been no official discussions on the matter Those discussions could pop up in the next few weeks. Beach maintenance costs are $1.5 milllion a year. If Wildwood does put a beach fees on the ballot, the mayor  believes North Wildwood and Wildwood Crest would also follow with their own beach fees question.

Do you think Wildwood shoud charge a beach fee? Let us know in the comments section below.
