Authorities Confirm the Ghostly Bride on Route 55 is Real! [VIDEO]

Authorities have confirmed that the "ghostly woman" seen in a viral video walking on Route 55 in Gloucester County in the middle of the night is real!

A real person, that is.

Washington Township Police have confirmed to NJ.com that an at-risk teen had walked away from a children's services organization. That teen is the woman seen wearing what appears to be a wedding dress, walking on the shoulder of Route 55 in the middle of the night.

Police were not able to confirm that she was actually wearing a wedding dress or carrying flowers.

After she was identified, she was taken back to the facility. Authorities say she was not injured, but she did successfully creep-out lots of people across South Jersey, especially given the haunted history of Route 55.
