'Thunder over the Boardwalk' comes roaring into Atlantic City on Wednesday, September 2nd.The 14th annual Atlantic City Airshow official start time is scheduled for 11:35. The air show will also mark the return of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels who last performed in Atlantic City in 2006. The Blue Angels will take to the sky starting at 3 PM.

The U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team will also be featured starting at 11:50 AM along with the USAF F-22 Demonstration by the USAF Air Combat Command.

It's also best to  wear light clothing, sunglasses and hats. Bring plenty of sunscreen and water.

You have a couple of options for parking:

The Wave Parking Garage which is located at Fairmount and Mississippi avenues. The cost is $7 for up to 8 hrs.

Park & Ride shuttle at the Atlantic City Expressway near milepost 4 will run 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cost is $20.

Shuttles will run from Bader Field to Albany Avenue and the Boardwalk from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Jitney Park and Ride will cost you $20

24-hour parking will be available  at the New York Avenue garage which is located at 19 S. New York Avenue.
