Area Schools Adjust Schedule in Wake of Mold Scare [POLL]

Flickr User Elizabeth/Table4Five

Mold has forced several local schools to rearrange their academic calendars. In Somers Point, we now at least have a better idea of how the school year will play out.

The Somers Point School District plans to shorten Spring Break and push the last day of school further into June.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, Superintendent Jeff Miller says Spring Break will now be March 29 through April 1, rather than until the end of the first week in April.

Also, the last day of school will be pushed back 5 days. It’ll now be June 19, rather than the 14th.
