Tis the season for spending time with family and friends, shopping for gifts, Santa Claus, the Grinch and unfortunately holiday scams. The holiday season is also time for seasonal jobs. There is an ongoing scam to be aware of especially for the holiday hiring season. According to Boston 25 News and the Better Businesses Bureau, the scam promises you the chance to earn from $20 per hour to $6,000 a month by working for Amazon.

Do not respond to any  email, voicemail of text promising you employment from Amazon just by submitting $200 for an enrollment kit. There is no such job and you'll be out of $200 by falling for the scam.

According to the Better Businesses Bureau, you should never share your personal information or hand over money. Be careful of jobs that offer you the opportunity to  work-from-home.
