Absegami Choir Makes Its 10th Anniversary Performance

The Lite Rock Christmas Choir Spotlight Series has evolved over the years to include many South Jersey school choirs. In fact, we have a school choir each weekday on December.

But ten years ago, when I first looked for a choir to come in and sing Christmas carols on the Lite Rock Morning Show, it was the choir from Absegami High School.

They have been coming back to perform for us every year since. Wednesday, Choir Director Cheryl Breitzman brought in 38 members of the Absegami High School Select Choir to entertain Lite Rock listeners.

As usual, they were polished and precise, singing fun and interesting arrangements of holiday tunes.

You can see the Absegami High School Choir, along with the school band and drama department in their "Winter Spectacular Concert", benefiting the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, Thursday, December 18th at 6:30pm at the high school.

The Lite Rock Christmas Choir Spotlight Series continues with a different South Jersey school choir every weekday until Christmas on the Lite Rock Morning Show with Eddie Davis.
