A Special Performance From Absegami Band Highlights Teacher of the Month Visit [VIDEO]

On Friday, I went to visit the Absegami High School Braves Marching Band to present Band Director, Jonathon Porco, with his prizes as the Lite Rock Teacher of the Month.

The band was spending the day rehearsing for that night's performance during the Absegami Football game and preparing for the USBands Open Class National Championships this Saturday at MetLife Stadium. The Absegami Band won the competition last year.

As our Lite Rock Teacher of the Month, Mr. Porco won a membership to Island Gym. His nominating student, Megan Nickerson, could be the winner of a $2000 scholarship from Lite Rock.
