A Mom’s Controversial Post: Is She Inspiring or ‘Fat-Shaming’ Other Women?

A fitness trainer in California is coming under some serious Facebook fire because of a photo that she posted on the social media site.

The mother of three posted a picture of herself with each of her children below her - ages 8 months, 2 years and 3 years - while wearing a two piece and showing off her seriously fit body. The text above them is what's causing the controversy… it says: "What's your excuse?"

People are responding in angry hoards, claiming she's fat-shaming women. See her Facebook post

While there are plenty that support, and applaud her, others say the commentary made by the text in the post is troublesome.

The 32-year-old mother said she is hoping to inspire women and not make them feel hopeless.
