The annual Atlantic County 4-H Fair runs through Saturday, August 12 at the David C. Wood 4-H Center & Fairgrounds on Route 50 in Mays Landing.

The 4-H Fair is a celebration of the accomplishments of 4-H members who have worked throughout the year learning more about their 4-H project and themselves through their club and other 4-H educational experiences.

You are invited to enjoy the 4-H projects and demonstrations that highlight the variety of “maker” activities they engage in all year round. Projects in the main building include all the “traditional” 4-H projects like baking, preserving, arts & crafts, and fine arts, but also robotics, STEM, and model railroad.

The Fair still brings the feeling of an “old-time country fair,” which is now a new experience. Bring the kids to see and interact with animals, watch shows, demonstrations, and musical acts, and look forward to the amusement rides. They can take part in Saturday’s public events – the Baby Parade, Tractor Pull, and Pet Parade.

Admission is free, a $4 parking fee. For more information, contact the 4-H Office at 609-625-0056 before the Fair or 609-965-1677 during the Fair.
