The 2017 Emmy Award nominations have officially been unveiled, and veteran favorite actors like Julia Louis-Dreyfus and first-time nominees like Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things, alike, are relishing their new recognition.

TV's most recent year has seen darling series like VEEP and SNL (which landed a series' best 22 nominations) shine, while newcomers like The Crown, The Handmaid's Tale, Stranger Things and Big Little Lies have proven they're poised to serve as serious competition.

One thing the honored have in common, though, is relentless gratitude. Between a posthumous nomination for Catastrophe guest star Carrie Fisher to recognition for Full Frontal's fearless politicking, this year's Emmy nominees are sharing their appreciation loudly and proudly.

The following, according to The Hollywood Reporter:

"Only in my dreams could I have imagined this. Thank you to the Television Academy for the incredible amount of love and support they have shown me and our show this morning" — Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things.

"I am so honored to be included in this extraordinary group of women. And I am very grateful to Robert, Tina, and all of our cast and crew who make my job so pleasant. Go Russia! I mean, go USA!" - Ellie Kemper of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

"I'm continuously blown away by our show's talent in front of and behind the camera, and this season is no exception. It's truly an honor to be recognized alongside such an incredible cast and crew. Thank you to the Academy, thank you to our UKS family, and thank you Beyoncé." - Tituss Burgess of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

"What is happening?! It's so nuts! I'm going to have to change my iPhone description from now on," the actress jokes to THR. And while Emmy nominations were early this morning, the actress was awake for other reasons. "Honey, I got up early because I was going to keep it real and had zero expectations for this day. I was in a Pop Physique class this morning! It's an exercise class so I was working on buns from 8:30 to 9:30 and came out to a gazillion messages. I got a lot of vague "woohoo!" texts so I had to try and figure out what was happening."  Kathryn Hahn of Transparent.

"Nobody was mentioning me so I was like, 'That's alright, I don't really care,'" he says. "My pride was hurt a little bit so I was like, 'David, just don't watch them, don't pay attention to them and have a shitty day and then it will blow over. So it was very unexpected." — David Harbour of Stranger Things.

Nicole Kidman, according to Entertainment Weekly:

"This really feels like one of those moments — we’re going to really enjoy this. It started with friendships and the friendships are strong. It’s one of those times where nothing like this has happened before,” she laughed. “We’ll all be there holding hands.”
