The world’s most famous Christmas tree is almost ready to begin its holiday journey to one of New York City’s most famous landmarks, Rockefeller Plaza.

According to NBC New York, Rockefeller Center has announced that the 2016 Christmas tree will come from Oneonta, New York. The gigantic Norway Spruce will be cut down on November 10th to begin its holiday trek to Rockefeller Center.

The 2016 edition of one of the most famous Christmas trees ever will be wrapped in more than 50,000 multi colored LED lights. The tree lighting ceremony will take place on November 30th and will be on full display until January 7th.
