A crash involving an Egg Harbor Township school bus and a car caused injuries to 13 students and both drivers Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, the school bus struck the front of the car at the intersection of the Black Horse Pike and Fernwood Avenue and caused both vehicles to veer off the road at about 3pm Wednesday,

13 students aboard the bus and both drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Egg Harbor Township Police.

The school bus driver, Debbie Garbutt, 58, was issued a ticket for careless driving and failure to observe a traffic signal.

Helicopter footage from 6ABC shows the bus with its hood open and the car involved being towed away.
