14-Year-Old Wildwood Crest Surfer Named to USA Surf Team

Congratulations to Maddie Peterson of Wildwood Crest.  The 14-year-old surfer was just named to the PacSun 2012-2013 USA Surf Team.

Maddie is set to start training with with other surfers age 17 or younger and eventually have an opportunity to earn a spot in international competition.

She is the first New Jersey resident  to earn a spot on the PacSun team. Maddie starting surfing at 3 and has been surfing competitively since she was 10.
