Authorities in Ocean City spent most of last night searching for a 14-year-old-boy who got caught in a rip current as was pulled out to sea.

According to Coast Guard officials, the boy was swimming with a group of friends last night around 7PM. The teenagers were swept out to sea by a rip current. Everyone in the group made it back to shore safely except the boy.

The Coast Guard Station Atlantic City, a State Police Marine Unit and the Ocean City Fire Department are activley searching for the missing boy.
