$1 Million Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Cape May County

Check your tickets -- someone in South Jersey is much richer today!

A $1 million winning Powerball lottery ticket was sold on Saturday, September 26th at the Shoprite on Rt. 47 in Rio Grande!

The winning ticket matched all 5 white balls: 23, 31, 42, 50, and 57.

The red Powerball number was 5.

If the ticket buyer had selected the Powerplay option, the prize would have doubled! (A cool million still sounds pretty good to me!)

There was also a winner in Atlantic County, where someone purchased a ticket worth $10,000 at the Wawa on Brigantine Blvd. in Brigantine. That ticket matched 4 white balls and the Powerball.

All is not lost if you weren't the winner...the Powerball jackpot for tomorrow night's drawing is currently estimated at $301 million! Time to start up the office pool!
